Last weekend saw our GeoVation Camp finalists make their final pitches How to encourage active lifestyles in Britain. We had three successful finalists from the GeoVation Challenge, winning a share of £100,000 in innovation funding to develop their ideas. A £1,000 community prize fund, voted by the camp participants was also awarded. They are:
The judging panel also invited two ideas to submit further information so that they can consider whether these should receive funding:

Sam Parton, from OpenPlay said: ‘it was a lot of hard work! The competition was tough, but you learn a lot from the process’
Aaron Oliver-Taylor, from Run An Empire commented: ‘Being selected as a winner means people support the project and gives us a lot of confidence to make it a reality!’
